Before we started this unit we asked ourselves what we did not know and what we wanted to know so this was my question I wonder if explorers only stick to one thing only. Also before we started this unit we wrote down what we knew about exploration and this is what I wrote Exploration is when you explore something new! Like discovering new species. My question was answered the answer was that when you do one thing you have to stick with is till you are done with it.
When the native Americans first saw the European's the native Americans thought that they were colorful birds that came from the sky. The reason they thought this is because the Europeans had cloths on. My evidence is that I got this from the book encounter that we were reading. Also they had thought that the Europeans were sent from god and also they had thought that the Europeans were gods. Christopher Columbus perspective is that he was happy to see land and people like the Indians like he called them but he was envy when he saw that gold ring in the Indians nose he had no good intentions he had said to another crew member that they will take 6 Indians back to Spain with them. The perspective of Pedro when he first saw them he looked wowed. My evidence from this is that he said the were beautiful strong naked people. I also think that he felt really bad for the Indians because they were taking 6 back to Spain. But it also said that he was happy that some jumped out of the ship.
